It’s exciting for the FLTPA School Choir Club to sing Carrie Underwood’s “The Champion” at school and around the community but, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience to sing in front of hundreds at Universal Studios CityWalk. You never know who could be in the audience. Next June, the Furman L. Templeton Preparatory School Choir Club will be performing as a part of the STARS Performance program.
Every year, the FLTPA School Choir Club travels out of town to perform. Last year, when they had the opportunity to perform in Niagara Falls only 22 choir members could go. That trip was funded in part by selling chocolate candy bars, snacks, and hot dogs at lunch. They also used proceeds from school picture day; it was not enough. When it comes to individual fundraising, alone we can only go so far. Together, we can sing at Universal Studios. {First Name}, the number of extraordinary opportunities for Child First students is limited without your help. This exciting opportunity will cost each student $800. That’s a lot of chocolate candy bars, snacks, and hot dogs to sell.
This #GivingTuesday, let’s work together to raise enough money to send all 32 members of the FLTPA Student Choir Club to perform in the STARS Performance Program in June. Our goal is $15,000. Your generosity will make it possible for every choir member to experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. A gift of $200 will provide lunch, dinner, or a hotel stay for 3 days.
You can help send the entire FLTPA Student Choir to CityWalk Universal Studios to participate in the STARS Performance Program in June 2024 by making a gift today. Generous donors like you make it possible for Child First students to enjoy meaningful experiences and for the FLT Choir Club can spend their time rehearsing their signature song “The Champion” by Carrie Underwood.
