My role at Child First is to to keep the organization high functioning internally. Part of my duties include create and manage budgets, leverage funds and partnerships, ensure timely reporting, support and manage the Executive Leadership Team, Human Resources and I have worked at the organization for 26 years (7 years part-time and 19 years full-time).
What I like about my job is that I have the autonomy to be creative in my approach to providing high-quality expanded learning
opportunities for the youth we serve. In addition to working with some of the most talented colleagues and community partners in Baltimore City!
My role at Child First is to Lead and scale our Community Schools strategy across Baltimore City by strengthening school-based systems that improve attendance, deepen family engagement, and coordinate academic, health, and social-emotional supports. I partner closely with principals, Community School Coordinators, district leaders, and community organizations to ensure our schools operate as hubs of opportunity and support for students and families. I have worked at CFA for a little over a year.
What I like about my job is the ability to translate vision into action, seeing systems, partnerships, and people come together to remove barriers for families and create real, measurable impact for students. Every day brings the opportunity to build something sustainable alongside dedicated educators, families, and community partners who are deeply committed to the success of Baltimore’s children.
My role at Child First is to ensure that all CFA Out of School Time (OST) programs meet high standards of quality and fulfill the requirements of grants awarded to the organization. I have worked at Child First for nine years, which has given me a strong understanding of what it takes to support effective and meaningful programming.
What I like about my job is seeing the direct impact these programs have on our youth. Knowing that students
are strengthening their academic skills, discovering new interests through enrichment activities, and participating in field trips that expose them to new experiences is incredibly rewarding. It is especially meaningful to see students grow in confidence and engagement as a result of the opportunities our programs provide
My role at Child First is to help oversee OST programming across multiple sites,
ensure accurate data entry and compliance reporting, and manage organization-wide social media marketing and communications to elevate program visibility and impact. I have worked at Child First Authority for two years in this role.
What I like about my job is that I appreciate the autonomy, collaborative and family-oriented culture, strong leadership support, and the freedom to be creative in advancing our mission.

My role at Child First is to support students, families, and school communities by connecting them to resources, strengthening partnerships, and creating opportunities that promote academic success and overall well-being. I worked at the organization part-time for four years and recently joined Child First as a full-time staff member.
What I really like about my job is the ability to build meaningful relationships with families and staff while making a direct, positive impact on students’ lives every day.
As a Senior Community School Coordinator my role at Child First is to manage family engagement,
build relationships and develop strategic partnerships to ensure wraparound service implementation is done with fidelity. As the Strategic Partnerships Coach, I support my organization with partnership navigation. I have been with Child First for 3 years.
What I like about my job is that I get to positively impact the lives of students and families in a meaningful way that supports their exposure to expanded learning opportunities.
My role at Child First is to serve as a resource for families and the community, helping them understand their power and voice. I believe that for every child to truly prosper, the entire village must work together. I have been at Child First for nine years.

I value building trusting relationships, listening to family needs,and connecting them to meaningful resources that create lasting change. Supporting young people and empowering families to thrive is at the heart of my work.
